After enjoying a hearty breakfast at the hotel, tourists will embark on a captivating cyclo tour around the splendid capital of Phnom Penh. Our first destination for today is the renowned Wat Phnom, a Buddhist temple with a rich history dating back to 1373. As the tallest religious structure in the city, Wat Phnom holds significant importance in the foundation of Phnom Penh. Inside the temple, you will be mesmerized by the intricately decorated walls adorned with murals depicting the Jakarta stories of the Buddha's previous reincarnations before attaining enlightenment.

Moving on, our next stop brings us to the remarkable Angkor National Museum, where you can delve deeper the historical treasures of the region. Amidst the journey, we will savor a delightful lunch at a local restaurant (at your own expense). In the afternoon, we will visit the Tuol Sleng Genocide Museum, where you will gain a profound understanding of the atrocities committed by the Khmer Rouge Regime. As you wander through the haunting corridors, you will come face-to-face with the chilling remnants of crude prison cells that once held approximately 17,000 individuals 1975 to 1979. Witnessing cabinets filled with human skulls serves as a stark reminder of the tragic past.

Finally, we will safely drop you off at your hotel for a restful overnight stay in Phnom Penh.

Let's embark on an exploration of the northern part of the town. Our first stop will be the vibrant local market, where you will witness the bustling early morning life of the locals. fresh fruits and vegetables to unique furniture and gadgets, the market offers a colorful array of goods. In Kratie, we will even get the chance to observe the majestic Mekong dolphins, a critically endangered species protected by WWF.

In the afternoon, get ready to immerse yourself in the authentic rural life of Cambodia as we venture to Koh Trong islands. Here, you can engage in various activities such as horse riding or cycling around the islands (at your own expense). We will also visit Wat islands, where you will have the opportunity to participate in a meaningful activity - growing trees to restore bare land. To top it all off, we will visit a floating village situated at the southern part of the island before returning to Kratie by boat.

For a restful night, we will be staying at the cozy Udom Sambath in Kratie.

Starting Kratie, your journey will take you to Kampong Thom, the second largest province in Cambodia. After breakfast at the hotel, we will start our day by being transferred to the incredible temple of Beng Mealea. Built in the early 12th century by King Suryavarman II, this large Hindu temple in the Angkor style is adorned with intricately carved motifs, such as the Churning of the Sea of Milk and Vishnu being borne by the bird god Garuda. Prepare to be awed by its beauty.

Next, we will make our way to the breathtaking temple of Banteay Srey. This stunning structure, dedicated to the Hindu god Shiva, was built in the 10th century and is renowned for its intricate carvings. Known as the "Citadel of Women" or "Citadel of Beauty," Banteay Srei will captivate you with its charm and elegance.

In the afternoon, our adventure continues as we witness the traditional process of making rice paper, Palm Wine, and Palm Sugar. Indulge in the unique and delectable flavors of these local delights.

We will set off Battambang towards Phnom Sampeau, renowned for its haunting killing caves. 1975 to 1979, thousands endured unspeakable torture and lost their lives, their remains haunting the caverns. Men and women were kept in separate caves, and even today, these caves still bear witness with scattered skulls and bones, alongside a poignant memorial and a majestic golden reclining Buddha. Leaving behind the somberness of the caves, prepare for a delightful adventure on the bamboo train – a whimsical blend of a flying carpet and toy cars, offering endless amusement.

Next, we will continue our expedition to Wat Banan, an impressive 11th-century Angkor temple perched atop a mountain. While it was once thought to have influenced Angkor Wat's architectural design, contemporary scholars now date its construction later than Angkor. the summit, the breathtaking vistas of Cambodia's picturesque landscape unfold before your eyes.
