Upon arrival at Noi Bai International Airport, meet our guide and driver who then escort you to the city center. After making sure of your successful hotel check-in (check in time 14.00), they will be pleased to leave you free time for your own lunch and leisure to recover after the long flight.

After breakfast at hotel, we start our day with a visit to one of the local markets. Hanoi is a city full of markets worth exploring and depending on your interests; our guide will take you to a food market or a flower market. We then take 45-minute-cyclo tour to discover the Old Quarter and Hoan Kiem Lake surroundings where you can see streets with century-aged trees and French Colonial buildings. Finishing the cyclo tour, we will drop a visit to Ngoc Son Temple built on Jade Islet dedicated to Confucian/Taoist Spirits and Tran Hung Dao, who defeated the Mongols in the 13th century and is therefore considered a national hero. After the cyclo tour, we will visit the Temple of Literature constructed in 1070 to worship Confucius and served as the first University of Vietnam. The site also honors eighty-two Vietnamese doctorates who passed a number of rigid exams in the medieval ages. We will then depart for an old village around Hanoi where we can enjoy a walk to discover its traditional houses. There’s a good chance to meet the locals and discover their daily lives. We return back to Hanoi for one more night and you have the evening to yourselves.

After breakfast, we depart for Halong Bay (without guide). Sit back and enjoy the peaceful countryside symbolic of the Red River Delta. We will arrive at Halong Bay’s wharf around noon and embark an elegant wooden junk for a cruise through the limestone cliffs and emerald waters of Halong Bay. Here we enjoy the striking scenery of this World Heritage Site. While being on board, we will be served fresh local seafood lunch followed by swimming and exploring some of the limestone caves in this area. Witness one of the world’s best the sunsets before you sit down for a lush dinner. The captain then will anchor for the night nearby a remote island where you’ll have the option night fishing or just sit out on the deck and relax under the stars.

In the morning, we enjoy the view of this amazing bay’s landscape with a cup of tea or coffee followed by breakfast in the fresh air. We cruise to Cong Dam while discovering Bai Tu Long Bay and cruising past the fishing village Vung Vieng. Your afternoon is spent kayaking through the hidden lagoons and park in Cong Dam. After a BBQ lunch on a secluded beach, we get back to junk for relaxing while cruising to Cong Do area. There’s also a stop in Hon Co Island to explore the well-hidden Thien Canh Son Cave. Dinner is served and you enjoy another night on this luxurious junk.

We have time for an early morning dip and the chance to watch the sun rise. This will be followed by tea and breakfast. Our journey continues with a visit to Vung Vieng fishing village by a rustic row-boat. Back on board, it’s time for final packing and freshening up before enjoying an a la carte lunch.

After lunch, you may relax in the dining room and lounge or on the deck enjoying the last Bay views before disembarking and transferring to the awaiting vehicle for your journey to Noi Bai airport for your flight to Hue. Upon arrival in Hue, your pick up and check-in has all been arranged.

After breakfast at hotel, we then set out for the exploration of Hue's famous highlights starting with Hue Imperial City, the last royal city of Vietnam. Hue is filled with various beautiful structures including the Flag Tower, Ngo Mon Gate, Nine Dynastic Urns, Nine Holy Cannons, Thai Hoa Palace and the Forbidden City(just to name a few). Built in the 19th century by the Nguyen dynasty, the City was home to the former Emperors of Vietnam 1802 until 1945. We continue our day with a visit to the elaborate mausoleum of former emperor Tu Duc, which was built between 1864 and 1867 by 3000 soldiers and workers. It includes 50 monuments surrounded by a 1500m long wall. We then stop to discover the secrets of making conical hats and incense sticks. On our way back to city centre, we visit Tu Hieu Pagoda - one of Hue’s most atmospheric pagodas on account of its tranquil setting. At the end of the day, a rickshaw sightseeing tour is awaiting for a better image of Hue tourism. Dinner tonight is served in Tha Om Garden House where there will be only two of you in a candle lit, romantic setting, and tasting authentic dishes that the emperors of Hue would have had many years before you.

After breakfast at the hotel, we bid Hue farewell and continue our southbound journey to the old trading town of Hoi An via Danang. Along the way, we will stop at Lang Co beach for coffee and refreshments. here we head up to the Hai Van pass, stopping at the top to take in the stunning views towards Da Nang city.

Upon arrival Hoi An, we take a walking tour through an exceptionally well-preserved example of a South-East Asian trading port dating the 15th to the 19th century. We start our day with the Japanese Covered Bridge - one of Vietnam’s most iconic attractions. Created in the 1590s by the Japanese living in Hoi An as a way to reach the Chinese quarter, the bridge is a beautiful historical piece of Japanese architecture. However, no visit to Hoi An is complete without a visit to Tan Ky House - one of the many ancient houses that make up Hoi An Ancient Town. Built two centuries ago with Japanese and Chinese influences on architecture, this house has been preserved through several generations. While walking, we will encounter many beautiful houses of Chinese merchants. Another must-see destination is Phuc Kiem Assembly Hall - an excellent work of architecture & historical significance. Built in 1690, this Assembly Hall was a temple dedicated to the sea goddess Thien Hau.

After breakfast at hotel, our driver will meet and transfer you to Danang Airport for flight to Ho Chi Minh. Upon arrival at Tan Son Nhat Airport, meet your new guide and driver who then escort you to the hotel for check-in. You will then have time for your own lunch and some well-deserved relaxation.

In the afternoon, we take a half day to visit all famous sites of this bustling city. The first destination is the Reunification Palace (outside visit) which was the former residence of the President of South Vietnam until April 30, 1975 when North Vietnamese tanks came crashing through the front gates thus bringing the Vietnam War to a dramatic end. This will be followed by some French colonial structures including , the Notre Dame Cathedral & the Old Saigon Post Office. Notre Dame Cathedral was built between 1877 and 1883, and the stones used to create it were exported entirely France. Apart the religious meaning, the most captivating point of this Cathedral is its neo-Romanesque style of architecture. Next to the cathedral stands the Central Post Office, finished in1891. It is another fine example of French architecture and is Vietnam's largest post office (still in operation !). After visiting the War Remnant Museum, we continue our trip to the bustling Ben Thanh Market, which is a fantastic place for bargains of every kind! There are a number of vendors and food stalls in the market food section that offers guests many delicious dishes. You also can find many goods for daily use as well as variety of eye-catching local crafts and souvenirs.

Saigon - Cai Be - Sa Dec - Can Tho

08.00 You will be picked up at your hotel in Ho Chi Minh to set off for Cai Be.

Begin cruising Phu An Jetty at 10:00 am. the sampan, observe life as it plays out on shore - people going about their daily activities against picturesque landscapes - while your attentive crew serves tea and seasonal fruit. Before arriving at Sa Dec, stop at various points along the river for a look some of the cottage industries of the region including a brick factory where everything is made by hand, pass monkey bridges and tiny villages to visit a Cao Dai temple.

Arrive in Sa Dec and stroll to the outdoor market. Visit one of the highlights of the charming town, the ancient house of Huynh Thuy Le, a real-life character in the celebrated novel and film “The Lover” by Marguerite Duras.

Lunch is served on board while cruising towards Can Tho along a narrow canal teeming with life. Explore the countryside surroundings by local rowboat.

Your last stopover before sunset is at an ancient house (a “Nha Co” in Vietnamese), dating back to the 19th century. The owner will welcome you and a candlelit dinner is served in this authentic countryside setting.

After dinner return on board while the Song Xanh continues its cruise towards the Hau River. Overnight on board.

Wake up early at 6:00 am for a visit to the famous Cai Rang Floating Market which operates daily starting 5:00 am.

Breakfast is served on board while the Song Xanh navigates towards the market among local barges loaded down with fruits and vegetables the Delta, making for some stunning photos.

Continue cruising towards Victoria Can Tho and disembark at the hotel’s private jetty. 

We then head back to the airport for your flight to Phu Quoc where you will be spending the next few days in pure bliss. You will be transferred by shuttle the airport to your hotel.
