In the afternoon, get ready for an exciting exploration of this vibrant city. Our first stop is the iconic Reunification Palace (outside visit), once the residence of the President of South Vietnam. On April 30, 1975, the Vietnam War came to a dramatic end when North Vietnamese tanks broke through the palace gates. Next, we'll admire the enchanting French colonial architecture, including the Notre Dame Cathedral and the Old Saigon Post Office. The Notre Dame Cathedral, constructed 1877 to 1883, is renowned for its neo-Romanesque style and the imported stone used in its creation.
