Read moreStart your day with a scrumptious breakfast before we head straight to the Magway elephant camp in Kalaw (only a 45-minute drive away). Our team will warmly welcome you and provide essential information about the camp, all delivered by our friendly English-speaking staff.
Embark on a short walk to the elephant village, where you’ll get a glimpse the lives of the mahouts and their families. Get up close and personal with our magnificent elephants as you feed them their daily meals, and even join in the fun of giving them a wash, as if they were your very own pets. Riding elephants is not our main focus; instead, we want you to experience the joy of being a mahout during the washing time.
Afterward, savor a delectable local lunch at the main camp. In the afternoon, feel free to explore the enchanting forest area and keep an eye out for beautiful butterflies, birds, and orchids in our conservation area. As part of our forest recovery efforts, you’re also invited to join us in planting a regional tree.
As the day comes to an end, we’ll return to the main camp and then drive you to your hotel in the picturesque Inle Lake area.
