Overview

At 08:00, you’ll be picked up your hotel in Ho Chi Minh to begin an unforgettable adventure to Cai Be.

Embark on the Phu An Jetty at 10:00 am, and as you cruise along, immerse yourself in the captivating scenes of daily life unfolding against picturesque landscapes. While you enjoy the view, our attentive crew will serve you tea and seasonal fruit. Along the river, we’ll make stops at various points that showcase the region’s cottage industries, including a brick factory where everything is crafted by hand. You’ll also pass by monkey bridges and tiny villages, and have the opportunity to visit a Cao Dai temple.

Our next destination is Sa Dec, where you can take a leisurely stroll through the outdoor market and explore the ancient house of Huynh Thuy Le. This house holds great significance as it was featured in the celebrated novel and film, “The Lover” by Marguerite Duras.

As we continue our journey towards Can Tho, lunch will be served on board as we cruise along a narrow canal that teems with life. To further explore the countryside, we’ll take a local rowboat and immerse ourselves in the surroundings.

Before the sun sets, we’ll make a stop at an ancient house dating back to the 19th century called a “Nha Co” in Vietnamese. Here, you’ll be warmly welcomed by the owner and indulge in a candlelit dinner in this authentic countryside setting.

After dinner, we’ll return to the Song Xanh as it continues its cruise towards the Hau River. Prepare for an enchanting overnight stay on board, surrounded by the tranquility of the river.
