Read moreWe embark on an exciting exploration of Hue’s renowned highlights. Our first stop is the captivating Hue Imperial City, the last royal city of Vietnam. This incredible architectural masterpiece, built in the 19th century by the Nguyen dynasty, was once the residence of the emperors 1802 to 1945. Prepare to be in awe as we admire the Flag Tower, Ngo Mon Gate, Nine Dynastic Urns, Nine Holy Cannons, Thai Hoa Palace, and the Forbidden City, among other magnificent structures.
Continuing our day of discovery, we pay a visit to the splendid mausoleum of former emperor Tu Duc, an extraordinary complex built between 1864 and 1867. Marvel at the 50 majestic monuments surrounded by a 1500m long wall as we delve the fascinating history of this revered emperor.
En route back to the city center, we take a fascinating detour to learn the secrets of making conical hats and incense sticks, gaining insight the local craftsmanship. Our journey then leads us to the tranquil setting of Tu Hieu Pagoda, one of Hue’s most atmospheric pagodas, where we can soak in the peaceful ambiance.
To end the day on a memorable note, we embark on a rickshaw sightseeing tour, offering a unique perspective on the vibrant tourism scene of Hue. As the evening sets in, we retreat to Tha Om Garden House for a truly enchanting dining experience.
