Read moreAfter relishing breakfast at the hotel, our day begins with a relaxing boat excursion along the picturesque Perfume River. We’ll make a stop at Dong Ba Market to purchase ingredients for our evening cooking class. Along the way, we’ll also visit Thanh Tien village, where exquisite paper flowers are crafted, as well as Van Mieu Temple and Thien Mu Pagoda, known as the “Heavenly Lady Pagoda,” which symbolizes the city of Hue.
Next, we’ll continue our cruise to Thuy Bieu eco-village, a charming ancient village nestled on the banks of the Perfume River. Here, we’ll participate in a cooking class and learn how to prepare authentic and delectable Hue dishes under the guidance of our skilled chef. Afterward, we’ll savor our culinary creations at an open-air riverside restaurant enveloped by lush trees.
The afternoon is devoted to cycling through the serene village, exploring communal houses, ancient temples, and the highlight of the day: the garden-house, an enchanting and distinctive feature of Hue. To rejuvenate ourselves after a day of sightseeing, we’ll indulge in a therapeutic foot bath with medicinal herbs followed by an exceptional massage performed by visually impaired individuals.
If time permits, we’ll visit the Hue Imperial City, the magnificent final royal city of Vietnam. Its stunning structures, including the Flag Tower, Ngo Mon Gate, Nine Dynastic Urns, Nine Holy Cannons, Thai Hoa Palace, and the Forbidden City or Tu Cam Thanh, were constructed in the 19th century by the Nguyen dynasty. Until 1945, this city served as the residence for the emperors of Vietnam 1802.
