Kratie – Visit local market – explore the island of Koh Rong – discover floating village

Overview

Let’s embark on an exploration of the northern part of the town. Our first stop will be the vibrant local market, where you will witness the bustling early morning life of the locals. fresh fruits and vegetables to unique furniture and gadgets, the market offers a colorful array of goods. In Kratie, we will even get the chance to observe the majestic Mekong dolphins, a critically endangered species protected by WWF.

In the afternoon, get ready to immerse yourself in the authentic rural life of Cambodia as we venture to Koh Rong islands. Here, you can engage in various activities such as horse riding or cycling around the islands (at your own expense). We will also visit Wat islands, where you will have the opportunity to participate in a meaningful activity – growing trees to restore bare land. To top it all off, we will visit a floating village situated at the southern part of the island before returning to Kratie by boat.

For a restful night, we will be staying at the cozy Udom Sambath in Kratie.
