We continue on foot to the renowned Wat Mai temple, famous for its golden bas-relief. Next, we visit the revered Wat Xieng Thong temple, adorned with exquisite carvings and mosaics.
Our excursion then takes us towards the captivating Khouangsi Waterfall. Along the way, we’ll visit ethnic minority villages, providing a glimpse their vibrant lifestyles. Upon reaching the falls, take a refreshing swim in the turquoise pools or stroll along enchanting forest paths. As the late afternoon approaches, we return to Luang Prabang and ascend the Phousi Mount. Discover the sacred, gilded stupa and marvel at the stunning sunset view of the city and the Mekong River.
Afterward, immerse yourself in the vibrant atmosphere of the night market, offering a wide array of beautifully crafted textiles by local and hill tribe artisans. Finally, we’ll transfer you to your hotel for a well-deserved rest.
