Along the way, you’ll be mesmerized by the enchanting French colonial architecture of this charming town, surrounded by vast rice paddies that stretch as far as the eye can see. Keep an eye out for graceful white storks and catch glimpses of traditional Khmer houses scattered throughout the landscapes.
Our first stop will be at Wat Nokor, a magnificent Buddhist shrine renowned for its exquisite artistry. Dating back to the 11th century, this impressive structure is crafted sandstone and laterite, and showcases a stunning collection of well-preserved apsaras. Afterward, we’ll continue our journey to Kratie, a tranquil riverside town where you’ll have ample free time to explore at your leisure.
Before the day ends, we’ll visit the remarkable Wat Roka Kandal, an architectural gem built between the late 18th and early 19th centuries. It’s a sight not to be missed!
