Overview

Embark on an exciting journey through the vibrant streets of Saigon! Our tour begins at 9:00 AM on Nguyen Thien Thuat backstreet, a lively thoroughfare lined with historic constructions dating back to the 1960s. Discover the hidden gems of this bustling city as you meander past Vietnamese guitar makers’ stores, intriguing eateries, and mass residential apartment buildings. Don’t forget to capture the essence of Saigon with your camera, as street photography is highly recommended. Our walk continues until we reach Ban Co market, where you’ll have the opportunity to indulge in delicious Vietnamese “chè” desserts made of beans, sticky rice, and coconut milk.

At 10:00 AM, we journey to District 10 and 5, immersing ourselves in the local culture by exploring typical residential apartment buildings. Witness the unique lifestyles of Saigon as shops, street food stands, and rickshaws pass by.

By 11:30 AM, we find ourselves strolling along Hai Thuong Lan Ong & Trieu Quang Phuc streets, the traditional medicine streets in China Town. Get a whiff of the aromatic herbs that fill the air as you observe the shop owners conducting their business. Our next stop is Thien Hau Temple, an important place of worship for Chinese who venerate the Heavenly Queen.

At 12:00 noon, we gather at a local restaurant for a delightful lunch before returning to the hotel around 1:00 PM.
