Overview

Morning Activities:
Begin your day trip by traveling outside the city center to the captivating Phuoc Tich ceramic village. It’s just a short 30-minute car ride away. Along the way, immerse yourself in the charm of untouched countryside villages and visit local markets, passing through vibrant bamboo landscapes. Upon arrival in Phuoc Tich village, explore the traditional old houses, some of which are over 200 years old. Discover the numerous ancient temples and pagodas, and observe the craftsmanship at the ceramic workshop. Although not as famous as Bat Trang in the north, the village’s ceramic products are renowned for their unique style. Experience the warm hospitality of the local people as they share the beauty of their village, showcasing the distinctive Vietnamese family style in Hue. Enjoy a delightful lunch with a local family, relishing the flavors of typical local cuisine.

Afternoon Activities:
Following lunch, bid farewell to the village and embark on a scenic route through the countryside and coastline. Capture beautiful photos of the picturesque Tam Giang lagoon, known for supplying a variety of brackish water seafood to the entire city. Witness local fishermen catching fish and other seafood as you venture further along the route. Reach Thuan An beach and continue to explore Tam Giang Lagoon, capturing stunning sunset photos before returning to the bustling city center of Hue.

Note:
For the active and adventurous, you can choose to cycle today instead of taking a car, covering a distance of approximately 40 km. Alternatively, you can opt for a combination of car transfer and cycling along Tam Giang Lagoon (additional charges apply).

If you prefer not to visit the village, an alternative option is to explore Hue Imperial City, including Thien Mu Pagoda, the Citadel, and Mausoleums complex.

Evening Activities:
Experience the local nightlife in Hue by freely wandering the streets. Take a leisurely stroll down Trang Tien street and soak in the romantic atmosphere along the Perfume River.
